Dr. Charm Quark earned her PhD in Strong-Force Strategy from CERN-adjacent State, where her thesis — On the Quarterly Decay of Mid-Tier Consultancies — was awarded the prestigious J/ψ Prize for Most Confidently Wrong Equation.
Following a brief postdoc as a quark in a Tevatron mesonic state, Dr. Quark transitioned to consulting full-time, citing 'better cafeteria options'. She is one of three known quarks holding both a doctorate and a Series 7 license.
Dr. Quark's published works include The Color Charge of Capital (Wiley, 2024), Synergy and the Strong Force (HBR Press, 2025), and the controversial You Are What You Confine (self-published, 2026, withdrawn after independent peer review).

Background
Before consulting, Dr. Quark spent three formative years confined inside a J/ψ meson, an experience she describes as ‘the best networking of my life — you simply cannot leave’. She credits color confinement with teaching her the single most important lesson of her career: no quark succeeds alone, and any quark attempting to do so will be met with an enormous, spontaneously generated bill.
She joined newtrawn INC in its founding nanosecond and has been Chief Spin Officer ever since, a role she defines as ‘applying angular momentum to ideas that did not ask for it’. Her charm output has been independently measured at 612 charm-lumens per second, exactly the industry baseline, which she insists is ‘a coincidence and also a target’.
